Founded in 2005, Triceptus Studios is an independent motion picture production company dedicated to creating compelling stories that entertain, inspire, and spark meaningful conversation. Built on the belief that great storytelling can connect people across cultures and experiences, our work spans across narrative films, documentaries, television, digital media, and emerging platforms.
Our mission is to develop and produce exceptional content that amplifies underrepresented voices, celebrates diverse perspectives, and explores stories that might otherwise go untold. Whether producing a feature film, a documentary, a branded campaign, or a short-form digital series, we approach every project with the same commitment to cinematic excellence, creative integrity, and authentic collaboration.
Over the years, Triceptus Studios has contributed to projects that have reached audiences through streaming platforms, broadcast television, theatrical exhibition, educational institutions, and film festivals. We believe every production—regardless of budget—deserves the highest level of craftsmanship, professionalism, and care.

About Crosby Tatum
Executive Producer/Founder – Triceptus Studios
Crosby Tatum is an award-winning filmmaker, producer, writer, director, and media entrepreneur with more than two decades of experience in independent film and media production. He is the Founder and Executive Producer of Triceptus Studios, an independent production company he established in 2005 with a focus on developing, producing, and bringing compelling stories to audiences across multiple platforms.
Throughout his career, Tatum has worked across the filmmaking process—from development and production through post-production and distribution—giving him a comprehensive understanding of what it takes to move a project from an idea to the screen.
His body of work includes the feature film Confused…by Love, the documentary The People, United! A Cinematic Diary, A Living Legacy, and Surprise, Surprise!. His projects have reached audiences through platforms including Prime Video, Tubi, Apple TV, Filmzie, and YouTube.
As a filmmaker, Tatum is drawn to character-driven stories that explore ambition, relationships, identity, power, community, and the choices people make when their worlds are challenged. His approach combines independent filmmaking instincts with an increasing focus on creating commercially viable intellectual property for today’s evolving film, television, streaming, and digital marketplace.
Tatum is currently expanding Triceptus Studios’ development slate while building relationships with producers, distributors, financiers, platforms, and international partners. Among his projects in development is Shattered, a scripted vertical drama centered on power, influence, betrayal, and the hidden consequences of ambition.
